Step back in time to experience what life was like in the 15th century from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday 28 July at Duthie Park, Aberdeen.
Join re-enactment groups Crann Tara and Medieval Realm as they commemorate the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Harlaw, which took place on 24 July 1411, near Inverurie.
Free archery lessons will also be on offer at the event which forms part of Aberdeen’s Tartan Week which started last Friday [22 July] and continues through to Saturday 30 July.
Aberdeen City Council events organiser Kenny Luke said: “Crann Tara and Medieval Realm promote Scottish culture and history throughout the year so we are delighted that they are contributing once again to Aberdeen’s tartan celebrations.”
